Monica visited ‘The Breakfast Club‘ on Friday (Aug 2) to dish on her new music, reality TV, health and more.
The singer opened up on a recent surgery she had as well as revealed that she suffers from high blood pressure that was hereditary and also due to her way of living/eating in Georgia. She revealed she’s recently changed her diet to control her blood pressure and try to live a healthier lifestyle.
She opened up on the differences in being signed to a major label all of her career (only until recently) and how going independent has impacted her. She also revealed that legend Anita Baker gave her some great insight and knowledge in regards to being an independent artist.
On the new music, Mo opened up on her new single ‘Commitment‘ recently going No.1 on the Billboard R&B charts and how it feels being her first independent single to do well.
