Mýa continues the rollout for her upcoming album Retrospect with the release of the official music video for her latest single “Just a Little Bit” featuring Too $hort, arriving alongside the unveiling of the album’s cover art.
The visual for “Just a Little Bit” brings the single to life, pairing Mýa’s signature R&B style with a sleek, performance-driven presentation. The track features Too $hort, whose laid-back delivery adds contrast to the record’s mid-tempo groove centered around themes of desire and connection.
The video release follows the song’s debut on streaming platforms and serves as the latest visual from the Retrospect era.
Alongside the video, Mýa also revealed the official cover art for Retrospect, giving fans a first look at the visual identity of the upcoming project.
Retrospect is set for release on May 15, 2026, and will be released independently through Mýa’s label Planet 9, in partnership with Virgin Music Group. The project marks her ninth studio album and her first full-length release since 2018’s T.K.O. (The Knock Out).
The album is described as a sonic tribute to classic R&B, soul, and funk, pulling inspiration from the late ’70s and ’80s while blending it with contemporary production. This direction aligns with the sound she’s been previewing across recent singles.
The rollout for Retrospect has been driven by multiple releases over the past several months, including “A.S.A.P.,” “Face to Face,” “Anytime,” “Whine,” and now “Just a Little Bit.”
