There have been so many Whitney Houston-related biopics, documentaries, and specials since her untimely passing that it’s hard to keep up with at this point.
Now, comes the officially family/estate authorized biopic ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ that will be hitting theaters this December, and on Thursday the official first trailer arrived and we’re officially here for it.
The film will star Naomi Ackie as the iconic singer and is written by Anthony McCarten, the screenwriter behind the 2018’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’
The project is directed by Kasi Lemmons and produced by Clive Davis, who is portrayed by Stanley Tucci in the film.
