Its been almost 5 years since Ameriie (formally Amerie) has dropped an album, and now the DC native is back with a new single and gearing up for the release of its accompanying set. After teasing fans last week with a teaser now comes the full track for ‘What I Want’.
The funk inspired track samples the classic breakbeat ‘Apache‘ by the Incredible Bongo Band, which the Sugarhill Gang famously sampled as well.
