Trey Songz is less than a month away from the release of his new album ‘Trigga’ due on July 1 and the R&B crooner is hitting the promo trail to build the anticipation.
The singer stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Tuesday to chat it up about his new music, and talks about how happy he is musically and with his life— “I’m at the point in my life where I’m just so happy about everything,” he said. “I’m just happy about my music, I’m happy my family’s taken care of, I’m wealthy, my music is sounding amazing.”
Trigga finally talked about the beef between he and newcomer August Alsina which August has been very vocal about.
“I rock with dude. I believe in him. I think he’s very talented. He’s dealing with a lot in his life outside of music. … I’m off that. I was on that. I was hype. I think my temper might have been worse than his.”
Speaking on their beef he said– “One of things that’s crazy about hip-hop culture that you see nowhere else is that we’re always trying to bring each other all the way down, and we gotta have this beef and that beef. I’m cool, man. It’s enough room for all of us to be successful and make money.”
Trey also talked about his relationship with Chris Brown and speaking with him since his release this week. Check out the full interview below.
