In a move that has us scratching our heads, it seems that one of our faves, Anita Baker is a little indecisive on the state of her career.
Following previously announcing that she was retiring from music and promised there would be NO new music and NO farewell tour, the singer ultimately kicked off a farewell tour earlier this year that is still on the road.
Just yesterday, the singer took back to social media to reveal that her farewell tour would now be extended as she has secured a deal to headline her own residency in Las Vegas for 2019. She confirmed the news HERSELF via her own Twitter this week.
Well on Friday, after a follower retweeted with excitement that Anita was heading to Vegas, Anita responded shutting down claims that she’s going anywhere. In fact, she says she is “retired” and “out of the music business.”
