It’s been almost a year since the end of season 5 of the Miami based ‘Basketball Wives” and fans were left wondering what would happen to the hit show ever since. The season ended with a major fight between Kenya Bell and Suzie Ketcham, issues unresolved and fans being deprived an actual season 5 reunion, allegedly due to cast members not agreeing to appear.
Although, the LA based spin off has continued to have a successful run, the original series silently faded to black with no confirmation from Shaunie O’ Neil or VH1 as to what the future holds for the show. However, a recent series of tweets have us wondering if the show could indeed be making a comeback.
We previously told you HERE about Evelyn’s attempt to reconcile with former BFF Jennifer Williams who did not appear in season 5. Now Tami Roman, has broken her silence on the potential of the show’s return. Taking to Twitter, Roman teased about the show being resurrected possibly and hinted that she would return if season 6 was deemed an All Star season with the return of past cast members Jennifer and Royce Reed.
As fans of the series, we are dying for the return, if even just for one last season! We must concur with Tami that an All Star season would be wonderful, including the return of Jennifer and Royce! There are a lot of egos and players involved, but perhaps the ladies can work this out for the good of the brand which made many of them household names today!
