Countess Vaughn has received her share of social media dragging the past two weeks after the unveiling of her music video for her single “Wifey,” didn’t go exactly as planned. The song and video were greeted with side eyes from damn near the whole internet.
Countess has remained pretty silent on the matter despite her retweeting the support she received from her cast mate, Lisa Wu who served as the video producer. Well on Saturday evening (Aug 27), Countess took to Instagram to address her haters, and what better way to do it than in song. She sings a number addressed to those who say that she can’t sing, and her message is simple, “You don’t think I can sing, but its okay, I’m gonna sing anyway.”
