Countess Vaughn has remained pretty silent since her video for her new single “Wifey” debuted on Wednesday night (Aug 17) and as she has been dragged all over social media. Well now, Vaughn’s ‘Hollywood Divas‘ co-star, Lisa Wu (who also co-directed the visual) is clapping back in defense of Countess.
The reality star took to Instagram on Friday afternoon (Aug 19) to respond to the negative critique of Countess and her video. Lisa blames budget, lack of resources and lack of time for the outcome of the video, but says it still was a great effort, considering Countess’ vocal prognosis from doctors, who said she wouldn’t be able to sing anymore.
Following her post, Countess also took to IG to co-sign and thank Lisa defending her and being a “real friend.”
