Monday night (June 15) saw the series premiere of the new reality series ‘Girls Cruise‘ on VH1 which stars and is executive produced by Lil’ Kim alongside her gal pals R&B singers, Mya and Chilli of TLC.
On the series, Kim takes her girls and a few other friends on a 10 day cruise in the Caribbean on a massive $30 million yacht, for some fun, sun, relaxation and turn up at sea.
On it’s premiere night, the series welcomed some impressive numbers for its first episode on the network, and was also trending on social media on Monday night.
The freshman series kicked off with a little over 1.2 million viewers and cracked the top 10 for the most viewed shows on prime time cable for Monday night.

Below the wrestling trifecta, “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” fell from 0.9 to 0.7 on VH1, and “Below Deck Mediterranean” slipped from 0.6 to 0.5. “90 Day Fiancé” of TLC ascended from 0.4 to 0.5, where it kept just ahead of the 0.5 scored by the premiere of “Girls’ Cruise” on VH1. TBS’ “American Dad” and MTV’s “Teen Mom” were the only broadcasts of the night to post 0.4’s, the former of which was one-tenth of a point higher than last week, the latter of which was stable.
