Truthfully speaking–Although Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is said to be full of “aspiring” and “signed” artists, it’s very rare that we actually hear any music come from the reality series, and when we do its mediocre at best.
With the exception of K. Michelle and hell even Joseline Hernandez who has a possible hit on her hands with her new single “Stingy With My Kutty Kat”, there are hardly any buzz-worthy acts on the show even worth mentioning.
However, this week fans saw the show’s newcomer Margeaux who is the wife to Mimi Faust’s sex tape partner Nikko, debut a song that caught the ears of many viewers including mine. The track titled “Start a War,” produced by Young Wolf Hatchlings is an edgy and very different track than what you would expect from a cast member of the reality show, and for that reason we like it even more. The song has been out for a few weeks now but thanks to show now we know about it.
By far not Grammy worthy, but for sure definitely something to give a listen to and add to your playlist. If you haven’t heard the track check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments below.
