Fans that were expecting to see the highly-anticipated ‘Verzuz‘ between Ashanti and Keyshia Cole this coming weekend will be waiting a little while longer.

The battle that was originally set to take place in person on December 12, was suddenly postponed that day due to Ashanti being diagnosed with COVID-19. To ensure the safety of everyone, the event was pushed back and a rescheduled date of January 9 (this Saturday) was announced.

Well, on Friday the official Instagram account for ‘Verzuz’ posted revealing that Ashanti and Keyshia’s battle is now scheduled as”coming soon.”

They also announced that for now battles will go back to their original format of artists being in separate locations.
