Remember girl group JS (Johnson Sisters) which was comprised of singers Kim and Kandy Johnson? The duo started off touring with some of gospel’s biggest acts before being taken under the wings of the legendary Ron Isley of The Isley Brothers around the early 2000’s.
In 2003 they released their own album, Ice Cream, which spawned the hits “Ice Cream” and “Love Angel” via Dreamworks Records. Need a reminder?
Well their album was one of the hottest and most underrated album’s that year and period! and the album is still one of our faves. Since the project went under the radar there are some slow jam ‘Bangers’ which you may not be aware of..but that’s what we’re here for!
