After months (and years) of reported infidelity and abuse against his wife, Wendy Williams, now Kevin Hunter is speaking out.
Hunter, who also serves as executive producer of her highly popular talk show, has finally addressed Williams’ battle with addiction and decision to move into a sober living facility.
“Wendy is doing well. We’re doing well as a family. We are moving forward with working on her sobriety and doing the work to help others, not just ourselves,” Hunter told “Entertainment Tonight,” referencing the addiction hotline his family launched. “It is a family process. Anybody that has to deal with this knows this is a family process … and we are dealing with it and moving forward.”
Hunter did not address the long standing and basically verified reports that he is having an over 10 year long affair with a woman by the name of, Sharina Hudson who is now allegedly pregnant.
According to reports, Wendy’s husband demanded that she go into the sober home so that when his alleged child is due, Wendy is no where around. Alleged sources connected to Wendy have also revealed they fear for Wendy’s long term health and safety.
“No one thinks it’s the right place for Wendy. She seems so frail and vulnerable,” the insider said. “It’s frightening just how completely under Kevin’s control Wendy is … But she won’t hear a word against him. Those close to her are terrified something awful is going to happen. She comes to the set looking terrible.”
Reportedly Wendy is not doing so well in the sober house, and is breaking down over the pregnancy and baby.
Just days after the 54-year-old talk show host revealed that she’s been living in a sober house “for some time now,” a source close to Williams tells ET that her current struggles are because “she’s melting down over her husband having a mistress.”
The source claims that Kevin Hunter’s alleged mistress is pregnant and the baby is due any day now. “Wendy is completely on edge,” the source says, adding that they are scared that the stress could take a dangerous toll on the talk show host.
The source goes on to claim that it was Williams’ husband who put her in the sober living facility in Queens, New York. “He wanted Wendy out of the way when the baby arrived,” the source alleges.
Wendy’s former co-host and friend, Charlamagne who actually introduced Hunter and the mistress, spoke up on the entire matter this week on ‘The Breakfast Club.’
