Brandy Readies First-Ever Holiday Album 'A Brandy Christmas'+Previews New Music and Tracklist [Video]

Tis the season for some new Brandy music.

While fans of the vocal bible have been anxiously awaiting her new album, the follow-up to 2020’s ‘B7,’ it appears the singer will be delivering some gifts to fans just in time for the holiday season.

According to reports, Brandy is readying her first-ever holiday album tentatively titled ‘A Brandy Christmas,’ and her team has taken to social media to tease the tracklist and some of the new material.

Her manager, Ryan Ramsey of SALXCO, reposted an Instagram Story on Wednesday (Sept. 13) that contained a few hints that new music is on the way.

The clip, posted by A&R executive Jaha Johnson, shows him in a studio brainstorming the album’s tracklist sequence on a whiteboard with Brandy’s rendition of “The Christmas Song” playing in the background.

“One of my favorite things to do is sequence the album. Christmas will never be the same,” Johnson wrote in a caption. His caption also hints at a possible album title, A Brandy Christmas.

Though the clip is just 30 seconds, there were a couple of more visible hints to entice fans. The album is expected to contain 11 tracks, based on the number of songs on the whiteboard. It will feature Brandy’s rendition of other classics such as “Santa Baby,” “Silent Night,” and “Someday at Christmas,” as well as original songs.

A release date has not been confirmed yet.

The impending project could align with Brandy’s upcoming starring role in the Netflix original film, Best.Christmas.Ever!, which premieres Nov. 16. Brandy plays Jackie, who reconnects with her old college friend Charlotte (Heather Graham) and becomes suspicious that her picture-esque life isn’t as jolly as the newsletter she sends every Christmas. Though, Charlotte is determined to prove that all is as well as it looks.
