Laurieann Gibson is on the promo trail for her new book ‘Dance Your Dance: 8 Steps to Unleash Your Passion and Live Your Dream,’ and one of her stops this week was ‘The Wendy Williams Show‘ on Wednesday.
The legendary choreographer and creative director dished on a number of topics including her decades-long friendship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, her last moments with The Notorious B.I.G. shortly before his untimely death, being fired by Lady Gaga over email, and more.
She also dished on the demise of Danity Kane which she helped form with Diddy as part of MTV‘s ‘Making The Band‘ and says that the girls could have been even bigger than they were had they not let ego get in the way, and not “drank the kool-aid” too soon.
She specifically named Aubrey O’ Day as one of the reasons the group didn’t make it, due to her desire to go solo very early on and leave the group behind before even making it big.
