Doechii just made history at the 67th annual Grammys on Sunday.

After stacking multiple nominations for the first time ever, the Hip Hop rising star snagged a major win in one of those categories and made history in the process.

Presented by Cardi B (who became the second female winner) Doechii beat out Common & Pete Rock, Eminem, Future & Metro Boomin, and J. Cole for the Best Rap Album category.

The win marks the first of her career, and the third time a female act has taken home the honor following Cardi in 2019 and Lauryn Hill in 1997.

Doechii took home the honor for her wildly popular ‘Alligator Bites Never Heal’ mixtape, also making history as the first non-traditional studio project to do so.

Get into the powerful moment and part of her performance below.
