Double Wins! SWV Receive Urban Music Icon Award at 2023 Black Music Honors+Honored with Street Named After Them/Inducted Into The Bronx Walk of Fame [Photo/Video]

It was a BIG weekend for the ladies of SWV!

Taj George, Coko Gamble, and Lelee Lyons were honored at two separate ceremonies over the weekend and we’re here for all of it.

The celebrations kicked off with Coko and Lelee being inducted into the Bronx Walk of Fame and having a street named after them.

For clarity, Taj was not honored at this ceremony, as only Coko and Lelee were from the Bronx but she did attend in support of her sisters and took to IG to celebrate them as well.

The ladies were also honored at the 2023 Black Music Honors in Atlanta on Friday where they received the Urban Music Icon Award. They received a tribute that included performances from Sevyn Streeter, Jacquees, and more.
