Erykah Badu's 'But You Can't Use My Phone' Debuts At No. 1 on iTunes R&B Chart, No. 2 on Overall Charts

Erykah Badu has much reason to celebrate today as it was announced that the eclectic soul singer has skyrocketed to the top of iTunes charts with her new project ‘But You Can’t Use My Phone‘. Via Singersroom:

Her latest mixtape But You Cain’t Use My Phone has debuted at #1 on the iTunes R&B album charts! The project also landed at No. 1 on both the overall Apple Music Streaming Charts and Apple R&B Streaming Charts.

And there’s more! Get this: the album also catapulted to No. 2 on the overall iTunes chart, (Adele snagged the No. 1 spot).

But You Cain’t Use My Phone dropped last Friday (Dec. 4), but we have to wait and see what the opus will do on the Billboard charts next week.

Erykah has been making headlines the past week for her tiff with Iggy Azalea, so its good to see her being recognized for her actual music…although we’re sure that Iggy drama helped shift a few of those sales. Congrats Erykah!
