It’s been a few months since the reunion of ‘Basketball Wives‘ where Tami Roman walked off the set mid way through, and Jennifer Williams didn’t show up at all.
The status of the cast for next season has been up in the air, but this week fans got an update on who they can expect to see back for season 8.
Evelyn Lozada shared a photo on Instagram on Jan. 10 dressed in all-black outfit rocking a pair of sunglasses along with strappy heels and fans quickly went to her comments to quiz her on the status of the new season.
“@evelynlozada is BBW coming back and or you on it.”
Evelyn confirmed: “@dwarren1995 YES & YES ??”
Meanwhile, just days later on On Sunday, Jan. 13, Tami did a Q&A on her Instagram Story responding to fans. One question read, “Ms. Roman are you returning to basketball wives?”
In response, Tami posted a screenshot of her in a confessional scene from the show accompanied by the caption, “If it’s meant to be it will circle its way back.”
Tami has been very busy with multiple acting projects including her hit online series ‘The Bonnet Chronicles‘ as well as the BET series, ‘Carl Weber’s The Family Business‘ and the release of her TV movie ‘Fall Girls,’ which aired on BET and BET Her Jan. 12.She also recently completed filming an upcoming Apple TV series with Octavia Spencer called ‘Are You Sleeping?‘
She directly addressed her status on BBW head on during an interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight‘ and what it would take for her to come back.
“You know, I actually loved doing ‘Basketball Wives,’” she said in the Jan. 12 “ET” interview. “I’m just at a place right now where it’s about protecting my energy and my space and my zen. I have to protect it. And so, even within the ‘Basketball Wives’ world, if I were to go back, certain changes would have to be made for me to be comfortable in that environment. But we’re still in talks. I don’t necessarily know if I’ll return, but we are talking about how everybody can be comfortable in that environment.”

We’ll have to wait and see who all will round out the cast for season 8, but get into this clip from the post reunion taping where the ladies gave their starting picks for season 8.
