If it’s one thing we’ve learned about K. Michelle is that you don’t come for her, especially not on social media because she WILL clap back but apparently some folks missed that memo. If you watched VH1 last night you saw the ‘Love & Hip Hop Live Wedding’ between Mendeecees Harris and Yandy Smith.
The two ‘Love & Hip Hop’ NY stars wed in their city and were joined by all of their celeb and reality TV friends including Kandi Burruss, Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez, Ray J and a slew of stars.
During the live televised wedding which ran over two hours, we saw everything from the lead up to the actual ceremony, which was opened up by K. Michelle who performed a wonderful cover of a Leela James‘ love ballad ‘Fall For You’. The song was requested by Yandy who wanted her friend K to perform it and the ladies received Leela’s blessing to do so.
Well apparently not everyone was happy to see K performing the song.
Fellow soul singer Jaguar Wright who you may or may not remember from Jay Z’s single ‘Song Cry’ decided to take to Instagram to vent her frustration with Leela not singing her own song at the wedding and tagged Leela in the post.
Jaguar must not have been informed from her friend Leela that she approved of the song being used and was completely fine not performing it herself.
However K. Michelle got wind of Jaguar’s post and decided to clap back at her and she went ALL THE WAY IN on how irrelevant Jaguar is and schooled her on a few things. Check out the epic read below.
Ouch!! We guess Jaguar learned her lesson today! Meanwhile it looks like K’s performance of the song has sent Leela’s song high on the iTunes charts and is now trending, something the singer is very thankful for.
