Kelis is coming back to the small screen, following her previous stint with her own cooking show a few years back, now the ‘Bossy’ singer and certified Chef has landed a sweet gig as the host of Netflix‘s newest cooking competition series, ‘Cooked With Cannabis.’

The six-episode series will be co-hosted by Kelis alongside fellow chef Leather Storrs.

Each episode features three pro chefs tasked with creating a three-course cannabis-infused meal for a $10,000 prize. The first season features a rotating cast of dinner guests, including Ricki Lake, Too $hort, and EL-P. In an Instagram post, Kelis wrote, “As a chef, I was intrigued by the food and as an everyday person, I was interested in how powerful this topic is in today’s society. In this country, many things have been used systematically to oppress groups of people, but this is so culturally important for us to learn and grow together.”

Kelis announced the show a few weeks ago when she took to Instagram to reveal that the Netflix sought her out for the show.

I’m really excited to announce my new show, Cooked with Cannabis on @Netflix!! Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love my Netflix, so this is a dream come true. Interestingly, this was one of those things that I didn’t go looking for, it kind of came to me. As a chef, I was intrigued by the food and as an everyday person, I was interested in how powerful this topic is in today’s society. In this country, many things have been used systematically to oppress groups of people, but this is so culturally important for us to learn and grow together. I hope you all will tune in, it’s definitely going to be a good time! We launch on 4/20! XO, Kelis
