January 22, 2016 marks the spot for the return on the southern hummingbird herself, R&B/soul singer Tweet. The singer just released her new single “Won’t Hurt Me” a few weeks ago and its accompanying video and on Monday (Nov 16) she unveiled the official artwork for the album “Charlene” which will house the single.
While speaking on the album with The Source magazine, Tweet revealed some tidbits on what to expect from her new music.
“I’m so excited about it! It’s called Charlene and it drops January 22 (2016). It sounds a bit likeSouthern Hummingbird as far as production and what my fans are used to. I collab’ed with a lot of the people who helped on my last two projects, including Missy Elliott. It was great getting to reconnect with people. I’m taking music back to the basics. It’s a full body of work; no skipping tracks. I’m really proud of this album.”
