'Insecure' Season 5 Begins Production, Keke Palmer Petitions Issa Rae For Her To Join Cast [Photos]

Issa Rae sent fans of her hit series ‘Insecure‘ into a frenzy ahead of the weekend when she revealed that production for Season 5 is officially underway.

The actress/creative shared a snap of a Zoom table read for the cast and included a shot of scripts for episodes 1 and 2 for season 5.

As expected, fans took to social media to share their excitement for the news. One of those fans was actress/singer/TV personality, Keke Palmer.

Keke took to the comments of the post and apparently other fans took this as some kind of correlation to her joining the show.

Keke took back to social media to tag Issa and let her know that she’d totally be down to join the new cast and even offered some suggestions on how to fit her in.
