Issa Rae is having one of the best years ever off the success of her hit HBO series ‘Insecure.’ On top of being one of the highest rated and most watched series on cable television, and also being honored recently at this years BET ‘Black Girls Rock‘ ceremony, the actress has just inked a major deal with none other than Covergirl.

The actress took to social media on Tuesday (Sep. 12) to announce that she has landed a spokesmodel deal with the coveted cosmetics brand, and posted a few shots from her recent photoshoot. Get into her post below as well as Covergirl’s official announcement.

I remember being an awkward black girl in high school, reading the pages of my favorite magazines, casually flipping through @COVERGIRL ads, singing their slogan in my head.
