The highly-anticipated and previously teased Dionne Warwick biopic starring Teyana Taylor has officially received the green light for production to be scheduled.
After both Teyana teased that the project was in the works a couple of years ago, and Ms. Warwick later confirmed the news, we’ve been waiting for any updates on what was to come from the project.
While both ladies have remained booked and busy in their time since then, any word on the project was radio silent–until now.
On Wednesday (Jan.24), Teyana took to her Instagram to share the exciting news that the biopic has received full funding and the schedule for production of the film has been greenlit.
She also used the opportunity to honor Ms. Warwick and let it be known that she plans to make the living legend and the masses proud in her portrayal.
