‘The Breakfast Club’ has officially crowned Jess Hilarious as its new permanent co-host for the coveted third spot that was vacated by Angela Yee in December 2022.
Although Jess previously announced that she was the official new host, there was no official announcement from iHeart Radio, Charlamagne Tha God, or DJ Envy. Jess prematurely announced that she was the official co-host at a New Year’s Eve event weeks ago, and the clip went viral.
Following that, there was radio silence as it pertained to her status on the show, and Charlamagne even revealed that he wasn’t sure who the new co-host was.
On Monday, the official word came as she took to her social media to share a video announcement revealing she is officially joining the show which airs on Power 105.1.

The news comes after Jess spent most of last year serving as a rotating guest co-host along with others who filled in the seat temporarily while the search for the permanent co-host continued.
Her first official day on the job will be February 5.
