2020 was set to be the year of Brandy!
The singer was slated to release her highly anticipated album ‘B7‘ earlier this year, but it was pushed back due to COVID-19 and ultimately came out in October instead.
There was also a series of great performances lined up for the summer, as well as an all-star tribute to the singer at the 2020 Essence Festival before it was canceled.
The revelation came via girl group June’s Diary who took to Instagram on Tuesday night following the EPIC ‘Verzuz’ battle with Monica–and shared previously unseen rehearsal footage from their portion of the planned tribute.
