Earlier today (October 28) Khloe Kardashian made headlines for a “PEOPLE” magazine cover story where she opens up on the status of her relationship with Lamar Odom since his near death scare last week which prompted them to cancel their pending divorce.
She revealed despite their pausing the formal divorce process, that does not mean they are back together the way everyone is speculating they are.
“It’s not anything sexual or intimate,” says the Keeping up with the Kardashians star, 31, of the present situation. “I want to be his support system. Tragedy does make you reassess a lot of things, but when it comes to our relationship, it’s the same, except I’m here supporting him fully.”
Speaking on her relationship status with James Harden she continued “there is no rush,” “I’m not trying to get married tomorrow to anybody. It’s just bad timing to proceed with that right now. And also for medical reasons, it’s just smarter that gets on hold for a minute. But that does not mean I’m back with Lamar. That’s a whole other thing that only time will tell. I can’t tell you what tomorrow brings.”
Well Khloe’s interview apparently rubbed a few folks the wrong way and many spectators took to social media to trash her for doing an interview so soon, a move many say was a direct deal brokered by her mother Kris Jenner.
Following some of the social media backlash this morning, Khloe took straight to Twitter to address the haters and clarified that the interview was secured and done long before Lamar even went into the hospital, and that the portion regarding him only happened after the fact as a follow up.

I had to do a follow up 5 minute phoner after the events only because I was contracted to. I cancelled my book tour to avoid this attention.
