Grammy winning diva Lil Kim is returning to ‘Dancing with The Stars’ for one night only to hit the stage with the legendary Patti Labelle. According to reports, in honor of the show’s celebration of 10 years–and 20 seasons–this year the Grammy-award winning singer Patti LaBelle will perform “Lady Marmalade” with Lil’ Kim and Amber Riley (season 17 winner) on April 28th.
This will be Kim’s first return to the show after she made it all the way to fifth place during the shows eighth season in 2009. As you know Kim remade the classic Labelle song ‘Lady Marmalade’ in 2001 for the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack with Christina Aguilera, Mya, Pink and Missy Elliott who produced the new version.
The track hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and stayed there for 5 weeks. Kim’s co-stars Aguilera, Pink and Mya will not be joining for the performance.
