We just told you days ago about Lil Wayne’s diss track aimed at Cash Money Records and Birdman, following the revelation that Wayne wants off the label. Now word broke today that after Birdman revealed he will not be letting Wayne out of his contract, Wayne plans to take the man he for many years called his “father” to court.
Wayne reportedly has filed a lawsuit to get off the label and is also demanding 8 million dollars allegedly which he says Birdman  owes him for an advance for his album ‘Tha Carter V’.
That’s not all, Wayne is also fighting to get all of the acts he brought to Cash Money taken off the label with him. In addition to Drake and Nicki Minaj, he plans to take his rumored girlfriend—Christina Milian, Lil Twist, and Mack Maine, who doubles as the label’s president.
Cash Money has a distribution deal with all of the Young Money artists however Wayne feels they should go with him as their contracts are signed via his division Young Money. Most likely the matter will have to be settled in court, but Wayne’s intent is clear — he’s not leaving without his crew.
