Love To See It! Will Smith Reunites Again With Janet Hubert To Support The Release Of Her New Children's Book & Surprises 200 Students On Stage [Video]

Will Smith fans were elated when he reunited with the original Aunt Viv, Janet Hubert for the first time in 27 years back in 2020 as part of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion’ special on HBO Max.

The special reunited Smith with his co-stars Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton Banks), Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks), Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks), Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey, the butler), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Aunt Viv #2) and DJ Jazzy Jeff sit on a re-creation of the Banks family mansion set in honor of the shows 30th anniversary.

Part of that reunion included a one-on-one sit-down with Janet, who played the family matriarch, as they hashed out the highly-publicized past issues and her abrupt departure from the show which resulted in her being replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid in that role.

By the end of the special, Will and Janet had mended fences and were in a great place reconciling any past issues. It looks like they’ve kept that love going, as Will recently supported his TV aunt for the release of her new children’s book ‘JG and the BC Kids.’

Not only did Will come out to support her event, but he also joined Janet on stage as a surprise to the 200 students in attendance as he helped read the book to the kids.
