Machine Gun Kelly shut down the stage on Sunday night with his first-ever performance on the 2021 MTV VMAs stage, but before that, he almost shut down the red carpet after an altercation with Conor McGregor went down.
While it’s not 100% clear exactly what happened, reports from TMZ say that McGregor asked Machine Gun Kelly to take a photo with him, but was rejected. The interaction is said to have escalated into MGK pushing McGregor, who stumbled back and spilled his drink. The UFC star then chucked what was left of his beverage in MGK’s direction as seen in the video below.
MGK and girlfriend, Megan Fox were ultimately escorted away to safety. Get into some of the footage below.
