Is the production team behind ‘Married To Medicine‘ trying to drop Mariah Huq from season 8? According to Mariah herself, it’s looking like they are.
The reality star (who is noted for bringing the concept for the show to Bravo after she turned down their proposition for her to join ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ over 8 years ago) took to Instagram to reveal that she had not yet received her contract.
While some of her co-stars including Dr. Heavenly Kimes have been on social media teasing that season 8 will be drama-filled, Mariah says she’s been checking the mail and not received her contract and has heard that others have.
Following Mariah’s post, Heavenly took to her YouTube channel to go live with castmate, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and the topic of contracts came up and the ladies took a few jabs at Mariah.

Fans of the show will recall that this would not be the first time Mariah has been phased out. After falling out with Quad Webb and some of the other ladies, Mariah was phased out of the cast after starring full time in seasons 1-2. Seasons 3-5 she was a recurring friend of the show, before returning full time again for season 6 and 7.
