“The R&B Tour” just got even more stacked.
Chris Brown and Usher officially kicked off their co-headlining stadium run last week in Denver, and fans were treated to some added R&B firepower when Mario appeared as one of the special guests, alongside Eric Bellinger.
Usher shared a recap from the opening show, confirming Mario’s involvement and giving fans a glimpse at the energy from night one.
The tour, which brings together two of R&B’s biggest performers, is being billed as a major celebration of the genre and is set to run across North America through December. The trek launched Friday, June 26 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver and is scheduled to wrap Friday, December 11 in Tampa.
Mario’s addition makes perfect sense. With classics like “Let Me Love You,” “Just a Friend 2002,” “How Do I Breathe,” and more, he brings his own catalog of R&B staples to an already nostalgia-heavy and hit-filled lineup.
Between Usher, Chris Brown, Mario, and Eric Bellinger, The R&B Tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest genre moments of the year.
