New Music: Rihanna 'American Oxygen'

This weekend Rihanna debuted a new track “American Oxygen” during her headlining set at the March Madness Music Fest at White River State Park. She also used this time to slam Indiana Governor Mike Pence and his controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA).

“Who’s feeling these new bulls— laws that they’re trying to pass over here? I say f— that s—, “F— that s—.” “We’re just living our motherf—ing lives. Indiana!” she shouted as she enticed the crowd who reportedly began chanting in support of her statements.

Her statements were on par with the message of the new song she performed.

“Breathe out, breathe in / This American oxygen / Every breath I breathe / Chasing this American dream / Respect for a nickel and dime / Turn it into an empire,” she sings over the track. The HD version of the track debuted on Tidal on Sunday but you can listen to it below as well as a clip of her statements on the bill.
