In the #BlackLivesMatter inspired visual, August reflects on his upbringing and how hip hop influenced his life growing up in New Orleans, where he returns to for the backdrop of the video. He uses the video to also shed light on the current climate of racial tension and police brutality against African Americans as fellow New Orleans natives hold up inspirational signs with declarations of change.
