Following the news that she had filed for divorce from her hubby Shannon Brown just days ago, now singer Monica has released the timely visual for her latest single ‘Commitment.’
The tale of a love gone bad due to infidelity sees Monica take action into her own hands which lands her in jail, where she is joined by good friend Tiny who makes a cameo in the simple video. Teyana Taylor serves as director for the visual. The clip debuted Monday night following the new episode of Monica and Tiny’s show ‘T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle‘ on VH1.
‘Commitment’ serves as the first release from Monica’s new album ‘Chapter 38‘ which will be her first independent release under her label imprint MonDeenise Music, Inc. The album will serve as the follow-up to 2015’s Code Red, her final album on RCA Records and has collaborations with Polow Da Don and PJ Morton.
