Is Nicki Minaj about to step on the Verzuz stage? According to the rapper herself, it might be a possibility.
While promoting her upcoming single ‘Do We Have a Problem?‘ on Houston’s 97.9 The Box, Nicki was quizzed on her thoughts of doing a Verzuz. While the hosts suggested that she go against her bros, Lil Wayne or Drake, Nicki revealed that there might be a few ladies she’d spar off with.
Nicki revealed that Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have indeed approached her about it and that they’ve discussed her sparing off with a female rapper, although she would not name who. She says if it was to go down, she wants to continue the theme of “celebration” that the previous Verzuz battles before have had.
Nicki Minaj on whether she’d do a Verzuz Battle:
“I think there might be a female or two that we could do it. They were talking to me about it. If it’s gonna be about FUN, then you never know!”

Fans have been very vocal about wanting to see Nicki and Lil’ Kim face off. Kim even that she would be down to battle Nicki when quizzed about it during a pre-show interview at last June’s BET Awards in L.A.
“Is there anybody you would do it against?” DJ Envy asked Kim at the BET Awards last year. “Nicki,” she responded.
