It may be April Fools Day but it was no laughing matter for rapper Tyga who was caught totally off guard today in one of the shadiest yet coolest ways. Tyga recently inked a deal with L.A. Gear for his very own signature sneaker and to celebrate he had an exclusive autograph signing/party at Shiekh Shoes in Hollywood.
Well during the signing, Tyga was approached by what he thought was a fan who had just dropped over $200.00 reportedly for two pairs of Tyga’s new sneakers. Alas, the man had waited in line over two hours not to cop a gander at his fave rapper but to serve Tyga with legal papers at his own event.
TMZ cameras caught up with the process server afterward and although he wouldn’t get into what the papers were for, he did reveal that it was due to a debt Tyga owes someone and his appearance in court was requested. Watch how it all happened below.
