After over a since it was announced, Peacock is finally ready to release ‘The Best Man: The Final Chapters’ limited series and the official trailer has arrived.
The Malcolm D. Lee-created and directed series will premiere all eight episodes on December 22 and reunite fans with their favorite group of friends from the original 1999 film ‘Best Man,’ and its 2013 sequel, ‘Best Man Holiday.’
The original cast are all set to return including Morris Chestnut, Melissa De Sousa, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, and Harold Perrineau. The series will also welcome several new additions to the cast including Nicole Ari Parker, Brandon Vixtor Jackson, and Tobias Truvillionas we previously reported.
‘Final Chapters’ will serve as the final installment of the hit franchise and will catch up with Harper (Diggs), Robyn (Lathan), Jordan (Long), Lance (Chestnut), Quentin (Howard), Shelby (De Sousa), Candace (Hall) and Murch (Perrineau) since we last saw them.
Based on the trailer, Harper is given the opportunity to turn his debut novel which kicked off the wild ride over 20 years ago, “Unfinished Business,” into a movie. Harper will now have to let his friends know that the book that shook up their friendship group, will now be coming to the big screen.
