For months there have been reports that a major cast shakeup was on the horizon at ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ for its upcoming season 14. Even Andy Cohen recently confirmed the news and teased that he was adjusting the cast and knew the six ladies that would be getting peaches.
The cast overhaul has been such a major issue that production (which normally starts in the summer and premieres in November) has been put on hold, and is not set to begin for the first time ever in October, with a Spring 2022 premiere.
It’s been teased that Cynthia Bailey was going to be let go for season 14 and she even confirmed on The Wendy Williams Show and other outlets that she wasn’t sure of her fate on the show. It’s also been teased that Porsha Williams was on the fence about returning due to hesitancy surrounding her new relationship and how that would play out on the show with the ladies.
Now according to sources, the cast has been finalized and as teased, Cynthia is out as a full-time cast member, and Porsha has decided not to return to the show.

According to @alloveranthony, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore and Drew Sidora will be returning as full-time housewives for season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Marlo Hampton will be upgraded to a housewife after featuring throughout the years as a ‘friend’ of the show, and Shereè Whitfield will reportedly make another comeback, after previously featuring between seasons 1-4, and 8-10.
The five housewives will be joined by a new addition, according to Anthony, totally six housewives for season 14.
This means that Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey will no longer be part of the show (at least in a full-time position).
Filming is scheduled to commence sometime in October, and will likely premiere early Spring 2022.
Fans suspected that Porsha would not return as she currently is working on her own spin-off series on Bravo that will feature her family, and focus on her new relationship and engagement to Simon Goubadia and their family life.
Per usual, Bravo has not confirmed casting but with filming set to start in October, we’re sure tidbits will begin to roll out as sightings of the cast will surely begin to leak.
The source also revealed that past housewives are also set to make appearances on season 14. Stay tuned.
