Could a Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj collaboration be on the way? According to reports, if Nicki’s beau Meek Mill has anything to do with it then quite possibly. We are taking this report with a grain of salt but you never know.
According to Hollywood Life the rapper is trying to convince Nicki to squash her long time feud with Kim and work on a song together which potentially could be one of the biggest Hip Hop records ever. Via HL:
Meek Mill, has some big dreams in sight! The 28-year-old rapper is begging his main squeezeNicki Minaj, 32, to collaborate on a new song with none other than her rival Lil Kim, 41! Despite their problems, Meek thinks that if they can put their differences aside, the two queens would “own rap,” HollywoodLife.com is EXCLUSIVELY reporting.
That certainly would be HUGE, Meek! the “I’m A Boss” rapper is in Nicki’s ear, attempting to convince her to squelch her seemingly never ending feud with Bed Stuy’s finest for the sake of making killer music! Meek told Nicki “if she got together with Kim in the studio and came up with a collab, they’d own rap!,” a source close to the “All Eyes On You” artist told HollywoodLife.com. “He reminded Nicki that they’re in business for money, not for feuds! Nicki loves her dollars more than her A-1 steak sauce,” the source adds, “and she’s thinking really hard as to whether she can stomach working with Kim.”
If this report is true, Meek has a big challenge ahead of himself as both ladies are very stern but Kim has alluded in the past that if the price was right she would consider working with Nicki.
Kim also is staging a major comeback to music as we’ve told you, she has reunited with Puff Daddy who is executive producing her new album and she will be featured on his upcoming Puff Daddy & The Family album and Bad Boy tour reportedly.
With that said, Kim doesn’t NEED Nicki and neither does Nicki as it pertains to Kim but a song with the two would be monumental and long overdue!
