As you’ve probably heard by now, a lot of rappers and hip hop fans alike are mad at Iggy Azalea. The ‘Fancy’ rapper has stormed the game with her no. 1 single and dominated the nomination list of the ‘American Music Awards’ that was released this week.
In addition to the drama with Forbes magazine calling her the queen of rap earlier this year, it seems as though many folks have their panties in a bunch over the aussie bred rapper.
Now rap vet Snoop Dogg has lashed out at Iggy and Iggy is responding, but apparently the Dogg Father has no intention of letting up on her.
It all started when Snoop posted the shady image below via Instragram.
The image prompted Iggy to respond with surprise and revealing that she has met Snoop and seen him several times and he apparently is a fan.
Her response triggered Snoop to return to Instagram only to ignite the feud with even more insults even bringing Iggy’s rumored nemesis and competition Nicki Minaj into the fight.
Iggy obviously un-bothered by Snoop’s shade took back to Twitter to respond to his newest digs.
Based on what we’ve seen so far we see Snoop has no intention of letting up on Iggy in this feud that appears to be a choreographed ploy just to try her. Kudos to Iggy for taking the high road, however we wonder what Iggy’s mentor and the man behind her T.I. has to say about this.
In the past T.I. has addressed the issues of fellow rappers coming at Iggy about her authenticity which many of them have questions, specifically rap wannabe Azalea Banks. Tip touched briefly on their feud but we wonder if he will respond directly to Snoop man to man about this? We’re watching…
