After months and months of production and speculation, the official Whitney Houston biopic is on the way!
While fans have seen several Whitney films including Lifetime’s unauthorized biopic, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody‘ is the official film authorized and backed by Whitney’s official estate and family.
On Monday, the first official teaser poster for the film arrived and we’re so here for it!

Not much detail has been released on the film but we do know that the project is directed by Kasi Lemmons, and stars Naomi Ackie as Whitney, Ashton Sanders as Bobby Brown, and Stanley Tucci as Clive Davis.
The film is slated to be released in the United States on December 21, 2022, by Sony Pictures. Stay tuned!
