Tamar Braxton is opening up on her feelings regarding the first week sales of her new album “Calling All Lovers” which scoreda #5 debut on the Billboard 200 with sales of 38,000 – a far cry of the 114,000 2013’s ‘Love & War’ did in it’s opening week.
Despite the project being one of the BEST R&B projects out in some time, and her face being seen on “The Real” daily, as well as competing at the top on “Dancing with the Stars” weekly the people just didn’t go out and flock to the project as we’re sure she would have liked.
Alas, Tamar is not harboring any resentment or ill will over her sales, in fact she took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the sales she has amassed so far.
Again, if you haven’t heard the album, do yourself a favor and go purchase a copy. From start to finish it is a stellar and well rounded R&B album.
