Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris sat down recently with Vlad TV and dished on some smoking hot drama that went down in her group Xscape.
While promoting her new show ‘The Mix,’ the singer/songwriter detailed the group’s highly publicized breakup years ago and reveals there was a lot of drama that led up to the ultimate split.
Prior to the big split, she says there were “small things” that added up over time that contributed to their demise. Specifically, a few physical fights including a “slap” match with her and Kandi Burruss, and an actual fistfight with Kandi and LaTocha Scott which she says got very nasty during a rehearsal.
She also dished on her and Kandi’s plans to go out as a duo group following the group breakup, and how their song ‘No Scrubs‘ found its way into the hands of TLC. She also confirmed that fans will see it all in their upcoming biopic set to air in 2021.
She also revealed that before their big long-awaited reunion and tour that went down with all four members a few years ago–they had actually tried to reunite years prior in 2005 as a trio without Kandi and had planned a reunion album titled ‘Unchained.’
She said the business was not right, and things just didn’t work out at that time.
