Tank is calling it quits!
The R&B singer has revealed that he will be retiring from music in 2022 as his next album and tour will be his last.
The ‘Dirty’ singer made the shocking announcement via Instagram on Thursday when he posted a short montage of a recent performance with the caption “I will miss this!.. 2022 Last album and last tour! See me while you can..🙏🏾
R&B MONEY!..”
He took back to IG on Friday posting a shirtless snap asking “Who gone do this when I’m gone?.. Last album and last tour 2022!!R&B MONEY!!..”
Not sure what prompted Tank’s decision to throw in the towel, but he has been very vocal in the past about the lack of support that R&B artists like himself get making it hard for the art form to survive unless you are a mainstream artist.
Tank’s next album will be his tenth studio album, but no word on when fans can expect it. Get into the announcements below.
