Adrienne Bailon has had a successful career, starting with 3LW which crossed over into the Cheetah Girls, and transitioned her into acting and now hosting ‘The Real’on daytime. However followers of the Latina singer have always wondered what the status of her long delayed solo album was.
Fans saw as she signed with Def Jam Records and then teamed up with Ne-Yo on her reality show ‘Empire Girls’ and crafted her album, but still to this day nothing has been released.
This week during an emotional segment, Adrienne opened up and got teary eyed as she discussed with her ‘The Real’ co-hosts the real reason(s) why she has yet to drop an album, and her response may surprise you.
We must say as fans of Adrienne, we have always wondered what happened to her solo career as we were excited to hear new music from her. To hear her open up on her insecurities and the shady side of the music business is refreshing. Hopefully now with the weight off her shoulders and the support of her co-hosts sisters, she will feel inspired to try at it one more time. For the material that did come from her short lived solo efforts had us anticipating and looking forward to what she had to offer.
