Victoria Monet didn’t come to play with the people!
The Grammy-winning performer dropped her newest visual for her single ‘Alright‘ on Tuesday (June 11), and the dance-heavy clip is more than just “alright.”
In the video, Monet channels her idols including Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Janet Jackson–which is appropriate as she shares the song title with one of the Pop Queen’s biggest hits.
The single is pulled from her hit album ‘JAGUAR II, and the visual is directed by frequent Janet collaborator, Dave Meyers and choreographed by Sean Bankhead.
In addition to paying homage to the icons, she shared:
“There’s no better month to release this visual than Pride Month, Black Music Month, and the beginning of summer ‘24! I can’t wait to see where dance artists and the ballroom culture take it.”
